Scrivener 3.0.2 – Project management and word processing tool for writers. March 9, 2018 Scrivener is a project management and writing tool for writers of all kinds that stays with you from that first unformed idea all the way through to the first – or even final – draft. Scrivener 3.0.3 costs $44.99 on the Mac App Store or direct from the developer, Literature & Latte. It requires macOS 10.12 or higher. Scrivener 1.1.5 for iOS costs $19.99 on the App Store. Murphy’s Law says that when we went live with our Scrivener blog series, the folks over at Literature and Latte would release 3.0. But we’re ga-ga over the changes, so we’re not complaining too much. Today we’d like to share a few changes that we’ve noticed (and we’re sure we’ll find more) formatting with Scrivener 3.0.
Literature & Latte has issued Scrivener 3.0.3, a hefty maintenance update with a lengthy list of refinements and bug fixes for the word processor designed for long writing projects. The release adds options for controlling the header and footer margins for print and PDF, supports the “Book begins after front matter” option in EPUB 3 exports, adds a Compile format for exporting Word documents into the Vellum self-publishing app, improves style previews in the styles panel and menus, fixes a bug that could cause a hang when importing Word or RTF files containing footnotes, improves dotted underline drawing, and works around a bug in macOS 10.13.4 High Sierra that could cause PNG images to fade after being saved or resized. ($45 new, free update from version 3, $25 upgrade from version 2, 106 MB, release notes, macOS 10.12+)

Typewriter. Ring-binder. Scrapbook. Scrivener combines all the writing tools you need to craft your first draft, from nascent notion to final full stop.
Tailor-made for creating long manuscripts, Scrivener banishes page fright by allowing you to compose your text in any order, in sections as large or small as you like. Got a great idea but don’t know where it fits? Write when inspiration strikes and find its place later. Grow your manuscript organically, idea by idea.
Whether you plan or plunge, Scrivener works your way: meticulously outline every last detail first, or hammer out a complete draft and restructure later. Or do a bit of both. Flux 5 6 4 – advanced web design tool. All text sections in Scrivener are fully integrated with its outlining tools, so working with an overview of your manuscript is only ever a click away, and turning Chapter Four into Chapter One is as simple as drag and drop.
Need to refer to research? Dmg canvas stylized disk images made easy v3 0 4. In Scrivener, your background material is always at hand, and you can open it right alongside what you’re working on. Write a description based on a photograph. Transcribe an interview. Check for consistency with an earlier chapter.
Once you’re ready to share your work with the world, compile everything into a single document for printing, create an e-book, or export to popular formats such as Word, PDF, Final Draft or plain text. You can even share using different formatting, so that you can write in your favorite font and still keep your editor happy.
Scrivener’s users include best-selling novelists, screenwriters, students, academics, lawyers, journalists and translators. It won’t tell you how to write – it just provides everything you need to start writing and keep writing.
